FAQ for Voter Appreciation BBQ

What is the “Voter Appreciation BBQ” all about?

The “Voter Appreciation BBQ” is a FREE, low key, laid-back, informal gathering of Hanover County family, friends and neighbors who want you to come out to mix, mingle and chat with like-minded people on the state of our country, Hillary, Liberal Dems, the Washington Swamp, the liberal media, fake news and other aspects of government that are on your mind. You’ll also be able to meet and talk with some of the elected officials that represent Hanover County who have RSVP’s for the BBQ as well.

We promise nobody will be pandering to you; we are not selling anything; nor is this a fund-raising event! All you need to do is just register and come on out; enjoy some great food; make some new friends and maybe even win a door-prize! We will have 2017 election material available for you; additionally, we will have information on ways you can get involved and make a difference if you so choose.

Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely, this event is Family Friendly, and kids are definitely welcome!

Where will this event be held?

The event will be held outside of the Winding Brook Shooting Range. This is an outdoor event, so dress accordingly; currently the weather forecast is calling for a beautiful day—sunny with a high of 77 F.

Will alcohol be served at the event or is it allowed to be brought to the event?

No alcohol will be served at this event, nor is it allowed on the premises since this is a shooting range facility.

Where can I park?

The Winding Brook Shooting Range has plenty of parking, but if the lot becomes full, there is plenty of overflow parking at the back parking lot of The Bass Pro Shop across the street.

Will there be restroom facilities on site?

Yes, The Winding Brook Shooting Range has made their bathrooms available to our guests during the event.

Do you need any help for this event? If so, how can I volunteer?

We can absolutely use volunteers. If you’re interested in helping out, we are looking for people to help with the following tasks:
• Pre-event set-up
• Guest check-in
• Running the door-prize give-away
• Food table set-up and serving
